HND Admissions Are Moving to JAMB, but the Process Is Not Open Yet
NBTE circular dated September 9, 2026. JAMB has said it will comply. No portal, dates or fees had been published as at September 24, 2026.
We publish the date so you can judge how fresh this is rather than take our word for it.
A circular from the National Board for Technical Education dated 9 September 2026 states that HND admissions in polytechnics, colleges of nursing and colleges of health technology will go through JAMB from this session. JAMB has said it will comply.
That is the whole of what is known. It is a real change and it will matter to a lot of people, which is exactly why the next part is the important part.
Nothing is open
As at 24 September 2026 there is no portal, no timetable, no opening date and no fee. None of it has been published.
So nobody can register you, nobody can sell you an HND JAMB form, and nobody can put you at the front of a queue that does not exist yet. If someone is offering any of that this week, they are taking your money for a process that has not started.
We are not selling this either
We have no HND service, no waitlist and no early registration, and we are not collecting names for one. When JAMB publishes something real, it will be a post on this page with the source and the date on it, the same as everything else here.
Until then, if you are planning an HND and want to think through what this means for your timing, ask. That costs nothing, and it is a better use of the wait than paying somebody.
