NECO 2026 SSCE Internal Results Are Out

Confirmed September 24, 2026. We have checked results for candidates ourselves.

We publish the date so you can judge how fresh this is rather than take our word for it.

NECO has released the results for the 2026 SSCE Internal examination, the June to July series. We are not repeating an announcement here. We checked results for candidates ourselves on 24 September 2026, which is how we know the release is real and not a rumour moving faster than the board.

If you sat that examination, your result is available now.

Where the result actually lives

Results are checked on NECO’s own portal at https://results.neco.gov.ng/. You will need two things that belong to you: your result checking token and your examination registration number.

No other website holds your result, and nobody can check it without your token. If a page asks you for money to reveal a grade rather than to sell you a token, you are not on NECO’s portal.

Release week is the slow week

Everyone checks at once in the first few days, and the portal gets slow or stops responding. That is load, not a problem with your result and not a sign that something is wrong with your registration.

Wait and try again later, ideally outside the evening rush. What you should not do is pay anyone who claims a faster route, a private server or an inside contact. There is no such thing, and the result will be there when the queue clears.

Read it properly, today rather than in October

Check that your name is spelled the way it appears on your other documents, and that every subject and grade is one you recognise. Admission and screening for the 2026/2027 session will ask for this result, and institutions compare it against what you entered on JAMB.

A mismatch is far easier to deal with now than in the week a school is asking you to produce the result. If something on yours does not look right, that is worth a conversation rather than a wait.

Nobody can upgrade a NECO result

Once results are released the grades are the grades. No agent, no portal and no amount of money changes one, and anyone who offers is selling you something they do not have.

If your result is weaker than you hoped, there are real options: a different course, a school with a cutoff you meet, or a resit next series. Those are worth talking about. An upgrade is not one of them.

What we can and cannot do with this

We can check a NECO result for you using a token you already hold, and tell you plainly what it means for the courses you are looking at. That is Result Checking Assistance, ₦500, and it needs your own token, still active. We cannot check a result without one.

Uploading a NECO result to your JAMB profile is a different job, and we cannot complete it for you remotely: JAMB requires your own biometrics at one of its centres for a NECO upload, and nobody can stand in for your fingerprints. WAEC can be done virtually, which is why our O’Level upload service covers WAEC and not NECO. NABTEB is not available virtually at all. We would rather say that than take the job and explain later.
