Bingham University
Open, with no published closing date
You can still apply, as of the date below.
Status and deadline last confirmed 24 September 2026. The cutoffs, fees and requirements below carry their own date. We publish both so you can judge how fresh each is rather than take our word for it.

Bingham Post-UTME: no physical screening, so nothing to travel for
There is no physical screening. Your uploaded documents are the screening
Register and upload online. That is the whole exercise. We still can’t confirm the closing date, so ask before you assume you have time.
Bingham’s screening is done entirely online, and that is the part worth knowing first, because this page told you the opposite until 24 September 2026. There is no trip to Karu, no printing, and nothing to carry to a campus. You register through the portal, you upload your documents, and those documents are what the university scores.
The minimum UTME score is 150 and the application fee is ₦2,000, both from Bingham’s own notice, with Medicine and Law set higher. That’s the ordinary pattern for a private university, a general floor that isn’t especially high with the two competitive professional programmes well above it.
Two things about Bingham we haven’t been able to establish, and they’re below rather than smoothed over.
What we know, and what we don’t
- General cutoff
- 150 is the minimum UTME score Bingham states in its own notice.
- Medicine and Law
- Higher than the general figure. We didn’t find a specific number we’re willing to print.
- Screening format
- Online only. You register and upload your documents through the portal, and those documents are what Bingham scores. The university’s 2026/2027 notice states there is no physical screening.
- Application fee
- ₦2,000, paid to Bingham. Stated in the university’s own 2026/2027 notice, checked 24 September 2026.
- Screening deadline
- Not confirmed. We didn’t find a date for this session that we could stand behind.
How Bingham screening actually works
You register through the portal and upload your documents, and that is the whole of it. Bingham’s own 2026/2027 admission notice says, in its words, that “there will be no physical screening, as uploaded documents would serve as the basis for screening and scoring for consideration for admission”. The same notice puts the application fee at ₦2,000 and the minimum UTME score at 150. Checked on binghamuni.edu.ng, 24 September 2026.
We had this the wrong way round until 24 September 2026. This page said screening was two steps with a journey to the campus at the end of it, and it went further: it told you that if you had read Bingham has no physical screening, you had read something wrong. Bingham’s own notice says exactly that, so the error was ours and it was the kind that costs a candidate a trip. Corrected against the university’s published notice rather than against another site.
What you still can’t plan is when. The closing date is the one thing about this exercise we have not been able to confirm, and an online window can close as quietly as it opened. Ask us for the current window before you assume you have time.
Looking for the deadline?
We’re not stating one, because we didn’t find a date for this session we could verify. Private universities commonly run longer or rolling windows, but “commonly” isn’t the same as “yours does”, and an inference isn’t a date. Message us and we’ll confirm the current window before you rely on it.
Applying for Medicine or Law?
Both sit above the general 150, and we’re deliberately not printing a figure we couldn’t verify. If your score is in the range where the exact cutoff decides your case, that’s worth confirming rather than inferring from the general number. Message us before you pay anything.
One honest caveat
Everything on this page was checked against Bingham’s own 2026/2027 notice on 24 September 2026: the screening format, the ₦2,000 fee and the minimum score of 150. Two things are still not on it, because that notice does not carry them. There is no closing date, and no separate figure for Medicine or Law. Settling the format does not make us more certain about either, and if you’ve seen a Bingham deadline or a course cutoff stated somewhere with confidence, message us and we’ll check it rather than assume it’s wrong.
Where people actually get this wrong
With a private university, the usual mistake is assuming the window is long because private universities usually have long windows, then discovering it wasn’t. The second is treating an online screening as a lighter one. What you upload is the whole basis for your score, so a blurred photograph or a result page you left out is not a formatting problem. It is your screening. Both mistakes come from filling a gap with something reasonable instead of asking.
Message us for the closing date before you assume you have time
There is nowhere to travel to and nothing to print. What this page can’t tell you is how long the window stays open, and with no published date that is the half worth asking about rather than guessing at. Ask us for the current window first. If you want us to handle the registration and the upload, that’s Post-UTME / School Application Assistance, ₦3,500 plus the university’s own ₦2,000.
