Post-UTME 2026

FEDPONAS

Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa

Closed

Screening closed July 24, 2026

The window has closed. Message us before assuming nothing can be done.

Status and deadline last confirmed 18 September 2026. The cutoffs, fees and requirements below carry their own date. We publish both so you can judge how fresh each is rather than take our word for it.

Dates change. Extensions and re-openings go to our WhatsApp channel first. It is for updates only. To ask about your case, message us on the chat.

JAMB CAPS is currently down. It has been unavailable since September 24, 2026, and it was still down when we checked on September 26, 2026. What the outage means for you

FEDPONAS Post-UTME: screening closed in July, and admission has moved to CAPS

Screening closed July 24, 2026

So there is no screening window to catch. If you were screened, what is live now is acceptance and clearance, and that happens on CAPS.

One note on the name first, because it costs people search results: it’s FEDPONAS, not FEPONAS. The misspelling circulates widely, and searching it turns up a thinner and less reliable set of pages than the correct name does.

This page is shorter than the ones we’ve written for other schools, and that isn’t an oversight. Very little about FEDPONAS this session could be established well enough to publish, and we could not reach the polytechnic’s own site at all on 24 September 2026. Padding this out until it looked complete would be the dishonest option.

What we know, and what we don’t

Screening closed
July 24, 2026. This is the fact on this page we’re confident about.
Cutoff
Not stated here. The only figure we found is single-sourced and doesn’t fit any other school this session, so we won’t reprint it.
Screening format
Not confirmed. We don’t know whether it was physical or online.
The name
FEDPONAS, not FEPONAS. The misspelling is common and it returns worse search results, which costs candidates information.

Screening is over. What happens now is on CAPS

If you were screened in July, the school portal is no longer the surface that decides anything for you. Polytechnic admission lists are released in batches over weeks, and an offer appears on JAMB’s CAPS. That is where to look, and it is worth looking more than once, because a name absent from a first batch is not a name refused.

Two things follow if an offer is there. Accepting it on CAPS and paying an acceptance fee are separate steps. And the polytechnic sets its own registration window after that, with its own deadline, which is the one candidates most often miss because it is not the one they were watching.

We can read your CAPS page with you if the status is not clear. That is CAPS Status Check at ₦700.

What we could not check on 24 September

We tried the polytechnic’s own site on 24 September 2026 and could not reach it. fpn.edu.ng refused our requests and the other spelling does not resolve at all, so nothing on this page has been re-confirmed at source since 18 September 2026.

There are reports of a first-batch National Diploma list for this session, carried by education blogs rather than by the polytechnic. We are not printing the list, a registration deadline or an acceptance fee on the strength of those, and a deadline is exactly the kind of figure that costs you something when it is wrong. If you have seen a date for FEDPONAS registration, send it to us with where it came from and we will try to confirm it rather than repeat it.

Why there’s no cutoff on this page

One figure exists in circulation. It comes from a single source and it sits well below every other school we’ve looked at this session. A number only one place reports, which doesn’t fit the pattern around it, is one to be suspicious of rather than to reprint.

If it’s wrong and we published it, you’d either write off a polytechnic you could have got into, or count on a threshold that was never real. We’d rather confirm it properly for your case. Same with whether screening was physical or online, which we also couldn’t establish.

Missed the July window?

FEDPONAS closed in July, but other institutions were still taking applications as at 24 September 2026, and polytechnic admission in particular often has more movement late in a cycle than candidates expect. Whether anything is open to you depends on your score, your course and your JAMB position. Message us and we’ll give you a straight answer rather than a hopeful one.

One honest caveat

Everything on this page was last confirmed on 18 September 2026, and an attempt to re-check it at source on 24 September 2026 failed, because the polytechnic’s site would not serve us. Most of what a reader wants from this page is something we have told you we don’t know. Polytechnics also announce supplementary windows, and admission lists in batches, with little notice. If anything has changed, message us and we’ll confirm it.

Message us if someone has quoted you a FEDPONAS cutoff

There’s a figure going around that we looked at and decided not to print, because one source carries it and it doesn’t fit anything else this cycle. If you’ve been told a FEDPONAS cutoff and you’re making decisions on it, that’s worth checking first. Tell us what you were told and where it came from. If there’s a school still worth applying to, that’s Post-UTME / School Application Assistance, ₦3,500 plus whatever the institution charges.
