FULAFIA, UNIABUJA and FUTMINNA Post-UTME Portals Now Close October 4

After the 2026 NECO SSCE results came out on 24 September, FULAFIA extended its Post-UTME screening and UNIABUJA re-opened its portal. Both now close on Sunday, 4 October 2026, which is the same date FUTMINNA had already extended its UPASE to.

Three schools, one closing date. The details differ, so each one is below with its source named.

FULAFIA: extended to October 4

The Federal University of Lafia has extended 2026/2027 Post-UTME online registration and screening to Sunday, 4 October 2026. The source is a FULAfia Special Bulletin dated 25 September 2026, published by the university’s Directorate of Information and Public Relations.

The window opened on 6 July, was first due to close on 30 August, was extended to 20 September, and has now been extended again. The bulletin says it applies to candidates who have not finished registration or have not uploaded their NECO results.

UNIABUJA: re-opened for Post-UTME and Direct Entry

The University of Abuja has re-opened its portal for 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration, and it stays open until Sunday, 4 October 2026. The source is a public notice on the university’s verified Facebook page, dated 26 September 2026.

The reason given is the release of the 2026 NECO results, so that affected candidates can complete screening. The notice gives no new fee, requirements or screening dates, and we are not going to fill that gap with a guess.

FUTMINNA: already October 4

FUTMINNA’s UPASE was already extended to midnight on Sunday, 4 October 2026, which we confirmed on its registration portal on 24 September. This post adds nothing new about FUTMINNA. It is here because a candidate applying to more than one of these schools now has a single date to plan around.

If you sat NECO this year

These windows exist so that you can add your NECO result to your school screening. That is what both new notices are about: finishing screening with the university, now that the result exists.

If you are not sure whether your screening is complete, or whether a school’s window covers your situation, ask us before you pay for anything rather than guess.

If you want us to handle it

If you would rather someone else handled the application, that is our Post-UTME / School Application Assistance service at ₦3,500, plus your school’s own fee, which we confirm with you before anything is sent.
